Veterinary Science & Animal Health

Animal health is closely linked to human health, not only in terms of food safety, but also in terms of the spread of epidemics and the control of hazards. The University of Pretoria offers South Africa’s only veterinary training faculty and as such, CE at UP is in the unique position to offer certificate courses in veterinary science, including courses in pharmacology and toxicology, practice management, veterinary and para-veterinary studies, veterinary tropical diseases and wildlife management.
